IESE Business School
The Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa, or IESE Business School is a graduate-level business school affiliated with the University of Navarra. It was founded in 1958, and it currently has 166 academic staff members. There are several degree programs available for students to pursue, and these include the MBA, Executive MBA, Global Executive MBA, MRM, PhD and Executive Education programs. There are more than 2,000 students currently enrolled in the school. The main campus is located in Barcelona, and there are also courses available in Madrid, Munich, Sao Paulo and New York. The establishment of the New York campus in the Manhattan area made it the first European business school to open a branch in the United States. The IE Business School has consistently been highly ranked as a top MBA school worldwide by the Financial Times and the Economist. In 2014, the Financial Times ranked the program as seventh in the world.
Notable alumni from IESE Business School are Antonio Brufau Niubó, CEO and Chairman of the multinational oil and gas company Repsol and Francisco García Paramés, former CEO of Bestinver.
