Professor Francesca Gino, PhD

Behavioral Sciences

Francesca Gino is a behavioral scientist and Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. She is also the author of Sidetracked: Why Our Decisions Get Derailed, and How We Can Stick to the Plan.

Her research focuses on individual decision making, negotiation, and ethics. She received her PhD in economics and management from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, in Pisa, Italy. In addition to researching and teaching, Francesca advises firms and not-for-profit organizations in the areas of negotiation, decision making, and organizational behavior.
